The Karst Caterpillar first appeared as a mysterious creature in the world of Come My Way, a music video by Sơn Tùng M-TP featuring Tyga. Soups developed the character into a collectible art toy, translating its organic qualities into a more approachable physical form.

The design explored a hybrid between the organic and the mechanical, with a focus on precision and detail throughout the sculpting process. Material selection was guided by the requirements of mass production, while retaining the level of detail of the original design. The final toy was fully cast in resin.

The packaging was developed as a direct extension of the music video's set design. Rather than treating packaging as a container, Soups extended the same narrative into the object itself, using a restrained visual system to connect each release within the same universe.
